Empower First Care supports participants to engage in volunteer activities that reflect their interests, strengths, and preferred environments. We assist with identifying suitable roles within local charities, community groups, councils, and not-for-profit organisations. Our team helps participants prepare for placements by explaining expectations, routines, and responsibilities in clear, practical terms. Ongoing assistance is provided during volunteer participation to ensure the experience remains positive, safe, and well-structured. Where required, we also support communication with host organisations and assist with transport planning and scheduling. Volunteering offers opportunities to build routine, social connections, confidence, and practical experience while contributing to the wider community.
